Real Stories is a student lead initiative aimed at expanding awareness and understanding on homelessness among college students. Built as a traveling art installation, narrative exchange, and virtual experience, Real Stories creates a space free of judgement and retaliation where students can be their authentic selves and share inspiring stories to raise awareness and understanding to the unique challenges they face, and the extents of their personal perseverance. For this year’s Spark Fest, we’re bringing Real Stories outdoors for the first time, in collaboration with Amphibian Theater. The installation will transform the South Main micro-park into an open-air gallery; blending art, performance, and community engagement.
