John Scott-Richardson is an American Obie award winning actor in film, theater, and T.V. He is an enrolled member Haliwa-Saponi Nation. John has a BA in Psychology and Art. John trained at: Raleigh Community Theater, Safe Harbors NYC, and Amerinda NY. Film/TV credits include Comedy Central Awards (Viacom), Banshee (Cinemax), Vice Principals (HBO), The American West (AMC), Jamestown (Sky1BBC), The ReunionNY; The Heart Stays, The Politician, Lumbeeland, and HUMAN in post. His theatrical work: Powwow Highway, Dvorak in America, Don’t Feed the Indians, Mangled Beams, and Ajijaak On Turtle Island. His recent work is Between Two Knees (Obie 2024). John produced and directed Soledad (23). He worked with NC. Department of Public Instruction, UN Equator Awards, NY Children’s Museum, Raritan Community Col, Lotus Music and Dance, Whitney Museum, Park Avenue Armory, and Cambio Climatico in Chile. John hopes to inspire the next generation of story tellers.
