Janessa Floyd

Janessa Floyd was born and raised in Los Angeles, CA. She is a BFA Drama graduate from NYU's Tisch School of the Arts. There, she trained at both The Meisner Studio and The Stonestreet Studios for Film and TV. She has had the privilege of working with teachers all around the world, studying Shakespeare at the Royal Academy of the Dramatic Arts, Brecht with teachers from the prestigious Ernst Busch Academy, and Chekhov with artistic director Slava Dolgachev of The Moscow New Drama Theatre. She is a proud member of Infinite Variety Productions, a not-for-profit theatre company dedicated to spotlighting women's stories that have gone unnoticed. She has appeared on Magnum P.I. Her recent onstage credits include Nellie Bly and the Women of Blackwell and In Their Footsteps.
